Feed my Feed, Rainlender Web 2.0 and Microsoft Open-Source?

So at the end of my last post, I posted links to a bunch of my Technorati favorites blogs. This was in hopes of a good transition for my blog to go from a small reader base to a larger one.

Simple goal, simple technique, wrong application!

There is a new technique being used by several bloggers (Thanks Bob!) to get their blogs out there for exposure to the blogging community and the world and it's called Feed My Feed. It's simple! All I do is post links to some of my Technorati "favorites" and hopefully my reader base clicks on them. In return, my "favorites" will hopefully see the link and, in turn, display my link within their blog! Along the lines, hopefully we each get some RSS or e-mail subscribers and a bigger reading base! Pretty simple and I hope everyone will participate to make this successful not just for me but for everyone involved!

I'm including some links to some of the more recently updated blogs right here!

Have a look and subscribe to: Life in the Fast Lane, Kyle's Cove, GoldyWorld, The Wrong Advices, The So Called Me, Vinod Live! and all of the previously mentioned blogs from the last post!

There is a Web 2.0 application that works pretty well but does hog a little RAM. I use Google Calendar pretty much all the time for due dates, meetings and whatever else comes up. There is an application called Rainlender that works pretty well and has a built in "To-Do" list and "Upcoming Events" list as well. It works well but like I said, it does use a little bit more memory than my laptop seems to like.

The last quick note is about a news story I was reading on Google Tech news. Microsoft going Open-Source? Let me know your thoughts on this as well as some of the connections to the recent negotiations with certain Linux distributors.

Enjoy Rainlender, help with Feed My Feed and let me know your comments by subscribing to this blog!

Have a great day!

Thanks for the invite and linkup!

I haven't got an RSS yet, but I'll be working on it soon. I'm techy challenged, so I have to research it, and figure out how to install it into my blog, let alone how to use one :)

I'm also at the mercy of my webmaster since he's been sick for weeks, and has a lot of catching up to do for me once he's back.

But once I get it in place I'll get something set up for you.

Have a great day!

Cheers!

Thanks for the linkup! Glad you are going to return the favor :) The html for link up is pretty standard. Just google "insert hypertext link + html" and you should get it. Have a good one!
